The Town of Mukwonago is located in southwestern Waukesha County, population 7,959. Mukwonago offers picturesque views of Vernon Marsh State Wildlife area, Mukwonago County Park, Phantom Lake, Jericho Creek, Mukwonago and Fox Rivers. The Town of Mukwonago Police Department consists of nine full-time and eight part-time officers and one full-time clerical staff. The Town patrols 32 square miles of area including patrols on Upper and Lower Phantom Lake.
